I am really bored today. I'm just going to post a random comment.
The minor enemies that Kirby attacks don't really die since they reappear, so he's not really "killing" them per se. Mini-bosses respawn too: you just have to go back into the room where you found it… if you can.

Yeah, he is merely transporting them temporarily to another dimension, which, in this case, is his black hole of a stomach. When they are no longer a threat to Kirby, they reappear where they were before.

I seem to remember an episode where Kirby is fighting a Dedede (voodoo) Doll (that Dedede is controlling) and Kirby sucks him up and tries to get an ability from the doll but nothing happens. Then we see King Dedede inside a sort of bubble floating in a black void. That's all I can remember. Can somebody find the episode I'm talking about?
